Two Optima Software Solutions Selected as Journal of Emergency Medical Services (JEMS) Hot Products for 2010
Austin, Texas, June 14, 2010 - Optima live TM and Optima predict TM software programs have been selected by the Journal of Emergency Medical Services (JEMS) as 2010 Hot Products from the annual EMS Today conference. Optima live TM and Optima predict TM are designed to help emergency medical services (EMS) dispatchers and operations personnel gain insight into ways to reduce response times and deploy ambulances and other resources more efficiently. The programs simulate and predict changes in call volume and other potential events to help place the right resources in the right area at the right time, thus improving deployment efficiency and medical care.
Optima's solutions were selected from the thousands of products on display at the EMS Today Conference held in Baltimore, MD. According to A.J. Heightman, Editor-in-Chief of JEMS, "Our EMS Today Product Review Team (headed by JEMS "Hands On" Columnist Fran Hildwine) visited all companies presenting new products (released in the six months leading up to the conference) at the 2010 EMS Today Conference and Exposition in Baltimore, and individually scored their product reviews base on four specific categories: Originality, Functionality, Ease of Use and EMS Need." Optima is proud to have had two products selected from a prestigious field of new and innovative product offerings.
